Curriculum Vitae of Olia Dellatola
Born in 1959.
Studied Philosophy in Kiev State University “Sevtshenko”, specialised (MBA) in Aesthetics.
She worked for two years in Medical State Institute of Kiev, teaching Philosophic Disciplines
She was taught the secrets of clay by Marietta Theodoros-Lemieux.
She maintains an atelier and permanent showroom on 15,Aggelaki str., in Thessaloniki Greece, since 1991.
She is a member of Pan-Hellenic Union of ceramists and Association of Artists of Figurative Arts of Northern Greece.
She teaches her unique technique since1996 in her own atelier. Her students already transmit their knowledge to children and adults and maintain their own workshops.
Her technique has been described in the book of a former student Giorgos Pentarakis, "Do it step by step!", Pub. Step by step 2006, and is reported in the handbook of Ceramics of Technical Professional School, Pub. State Organization of Educational Books, 2005.
She participates in exhibitions since 1991, realised individual and took part in a lot of collective exhibitions in Greece and USA.
